QUIT CHALLENGE FINALS !!

Saturday July the 10th,1999 - Woodlands Indoor Sports Centre

Another successful Quit Challenge Series was held at Woodlands, with Modbury and Morphett Vale taking out the Juniors and Seniors respectively.

Once again Modbury showed that their Juniors are extremely talented, and the senior players doing the coaching down at Modbury deserve a pat on the back. The fact that quite a few of the Under 18s are being given the chance to play A grade Superleague has obviously paid off.

The new Jackpot ball proved to add a bit of fun to the game, with one team losing a wicket on the last ball when they were 7 runs ahead, therefore they lost -10, therefore they lost the game. If everyone is in agreeance, we may introduce this added feature to the regular Superleague season in the Year 2000.

Congratulations to all who made the finals, and well done to those players named best on court.
